17040672002024-01-01T00:00:00.000ZHow are units interpreted?
Common Unix units are detected automatically; choose an explicit unit in Interpretation options when needed. Unix output retains available nanosecond precision, while calendar displays use milliseconds.
Which timezone applies?
Dates without a timezone use your selected browser-local or UTC setting. An explicit timezone offset in the input is respected.
Why reject ambiguous numeric dates?
Dates such as 03/04/2026 can mean different days. Choose day-first or month-first in Interpretation options rather than relying on a guess.
Common errors and limitations
Check invalid calendar dates, ambiguous day/month order, unsupported precision and dates outside the supported range. Explicit unit, date-order and timezone settings can resolve interpretation problems.
